BlubPay is a small, invite-only app for a made-up currency. This page says what it stores, where, who can see it, and how to delete it.

What BlubPay stores
Everything below is stored only so the app can work. There are no ads, no analytics or tracking kits, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.
- Your Apple sign-in
- Sign in with Apple gives BlubPay a stable identifier for your Apple Account and, only if you choose to share them, your name and email address. They are used to sign you in and for nothing else; BlubPay does not send email.
- Your profile
- The handle you pick, your display name and your avatar mark. Other members can see all three.
- Your ledger
- Every Splash, Fish for it request, Feeding Time, pot stake and payout: who, to whom, how many blubs, the memo and when. The Stream keeps them as a permanent record shared with the other member in each entry.
- Schools and pots
- Which Schools you belong to, the codes you mint, and the pots you create or stake in.
- Push installation ids
- An identifier for each device you allow Bubbles on, with its model, OS version and app version, so notifications reach it.
- Access requests
- If you ask for access instead of using an invite code, the note you write and the decision.
Where it lives
BlubPay runs on Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions and Cloud Messaging) in the United States, and Bubbles are delivered by the Apple Push Notification service. This website stores nothing about you and sets no cookies.
Who can see what
- Members
- Every member sees your handle, name, avatar and balance, which is how Big Fish ranks everyone.
- The other side of an entry
- A Splash shows up in both Streams, so the other member sees the entry too.
- Your School
- Its members see its pots, who staked on what, and who called it.
- The Bank of Blub
- The admins see everything needed to approve access and keep the ledger honest.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Settings and choose Swim away. It revokes your Sign in with Apple token, returns your blubs to the Bank of Blub, and deletes your account, profile, handle, devices and your seat in every School. Ledger entries stay, because they are the other member’s record too, with the name you had at the time.
Money
BlubCoin has no monetary value and cannot be purchased or exchanged. Nothing in BlubPay can be bought, and no payment details are ever collected.
Age
BlubPay is for friends who were invited, and pots are bets with a currency that is not money. It is not directed at children under 13.
